I’m Nele, a 25-year-old art student at Karel de Hogeschool, where I’m training to teach in high school and run creative workshops for children and teenagers. Before diving into art education, I worked in customer service, from my first job at a bakery to becoming a waitress, which fuelled my passion for human connection and helping others. At 23, I made the leap into arts education, and I haven’t looked back since—combining my love for creativity with my drive to work with kids.

Over the past year, I’ve explored various forms of art & education, applying both practical and theoretical knowledge in real-world teaching settings. My creative journey has also led me to organize my first art exhibition, showcasing my work and the work of good friends from the past year and beyond. I’m excited to continue this path, experimenting and creating along the way.
