Blind Exhibition

Assignment Art-Initiation, evaluated by Ilse Van den Bogaert

For this assignment, we were asked to organize a blind exhibition for two different age groups. This is a practical application of Art-Based Learning. I chose a group of people my age (ages 25–30) and Noah (5 years old). I collected appropriate artworks, compiled them into a PowerPoint, and selected “forbidden words” for each piece.

The challenge was for the participants to describe each artwork without using the forbidden words, so that others could create a blind drawing based on their descriptions. This led to some very funny final results. You can find the full assignment and the results here.
